QUALITY ASSURANCE CODES

​

These codes, when referenced on the purchase order or drawing, become a part of the purchase order.  Failure to comply with the

applicable codes as referenced on the purchase order or drawing could result in rejection of the materials shipped.

 

    CODE                                 REQUIREMENT

 

01          CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMANCE REQUIRED

Certificate must include the following information:  Planet Product’s purchase order number, drawing and/or part number, quantity shipped, compliance

with specified requirements, date, signature and title of person signing.

Unless specified elsewhere, records supporting conformance to specifications are to be kept on file by the supplier for a minimum of 3 years.

 

02          ISO9001 "QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS"

This standard applies to this order. Supplier shall furnish a copy of its current ISO 9001 registration to Planet Products when specifically requested.

03         AS9100 "QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS"

This standard applies to this order. Supplier shall furnish a copy of it’s current AS9100 registration to Planet Products when specifically requested.

 

04        GOVERNMENT INSPECTION REQUIRED

Government inspection is required prior to shipment from your plant. Upon receipt of this order, promptly notify the government representative who normally services your plant so that appropriate planning for government inspection can be accomplished.

 

05        GOVERNMENT INSPECTION

Government inspection is not required at this time. However, the government reserves the right to impose inspection at a later date if required. On receipt of this order, promptly furnish a copy to the government representative who normally services your plant or if none, to the Army, Navy, Air Force or Defense Supply Agency Inspection Office.

In the event the representative cannot be located, our purchasing agent should be notified immediately.

 

06          PLANET PRODUCTS SOURCE INSPECTION REQUIRED

Inspection of ordered supplies by a representative from Planet Products is required prior to shipment from your plant. Arrangements for this inspection should be made with Planet Products’ Quality Manager or Purchasing Agent.

 

07         LOT INSPECTION DATA REQUIRED

Inspection data for the material or hardware ordered is required. The inspection data submitted shall address all requirements, specifications, dimensions, etc., as listed on the applicable drawing or specification and demonstrate conformance to all requirements. Send recorded data with each shipment. Identify inspected part(s) when possible. Multiple shipments from the same lot shall include a copy of the original inspection data with each shipment. Inspection data shall indicate the original lot size.

08        QUALITY INSPECTION/ TEST DATA SUBMITTAL REQUIRED

Each shipment must be accompanied by supplier data relative to operational/ functional parametric measurements/ tests from the supplier's standard quality control procedures.  Where specific data is required per the part drawing and/or specification, the data submitted must, at minimum, conform to the drawing and/or specification. The data must be certified by the supplier's quality assurance personnel.

 

09         QPL PAINT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Paint to the requirements of Delco specification ES12717 using the method indicated by the drawing and/or purchase order.

Both the top coat and primer used must be from a QPL approved source. Certificate of Conformance to the requirements of Delco specification ES12717 is required and the Certificate must list the manufacturer, manufacturer's QPL number and manufacturer's batch or lot numbers for both the top coat and the primer used. Batch or lot numbers for both components of the top coat and primer must be listed. Additionally, copies of the original manufacturer’s certifications listing this same information shall be included with the shipment of painted hardware.

 

10         PROCESS / PRODUCT CONTROL REQUIRED

This item is subject to Planet Products’ approval of the processes and final product.  Once approved, the supplier shall notify Planet Products of any changes to the process or product definition and obtain Planet Products’ approval prior to implementing.

 

11          RIGHT OF ACCESS

Planet Products, Planet Products’ customers and associated regulatory authorities retain the right to access the suppliers facilities and to the records, associated with the performance of this order.

 

 12         LATE DELIVERY FEE

If Seller fails to make delivery in accordance with the contract delivery schedule, Planet Products will have the option of terminating this contract or assessing 0.5% of the unit price per day, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Any such liquidated damages shall start no sooner than 5 days after acknowledged delivery date.
